Debbie Forney Cactus - Frame Weight

This frame weight is made to look like a cactus, complete with needlepoint cactus flower on top!  

The silk dupioni fabric perfectly matches the olive threads used in the design.  

A wispy fringe gives the idea of cactus needles.  Filled with foam and weighed at 5 pounds, this will 

hold your needlework frame in place while you work.

Lee Ladybug Frame Weight

This needlepoint canvas ladybug was sent to me finished.  The backing had been destroyed by a pet, so I took it apart by hand.  I then removed the iron-on interfacing (not acid-free) and cleaned the piece.  The edges of the canvas were edged with bias tape to prevent further fraying.  The piece was then put back together in the same shape.  Handpainted canvas from Lee.

Frame Weight Finishing...

This square design was finished into a frame weight. It could also be used as a pin cushion. The weight has a 1" side like a box cushion. Red velveteen was requested and it matches the red tassel in the design. Custom twisted cording accents to top edge in colors that match the background and the velveteen.
