WIP "By The Sea"

I started this piece last week - it is a line drawn canvas and the stitch guide is pretty thorough - although it came out in 2000 so the stitch diagrams are hand-drawn old style!

It's coming along!


Detail- the purple ribbon has a couched edge added later and the purple diagonal is in-progress.

I love this David McCaskill piece. He's a thread wizard so I bet there are some interesting things on this canvas.

The snow has about melted enough for us to get out to the grocery store, so late next week I should mail you the Geisha Rabbit!
